The Artist
Bio
Andrei MARINA (b. 1960, Dej), sculptor. He graduated in 1984 from the Institute of Fine Arts “Ion Andreescu” Cluj, specializing in sculpture and restoration.
He is a member of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania. Prizes: Award of the Union of Fine Artists; First Prize for monumental sculpture. Public monuments: Cluj, Iasi, Lupeni, Vulcan, Chitila, Albesti – Mures, Bacau, Bucharest, Portal of the Italian Church, Portal of the “Saint Peter and Paul” Church in Baneasa.
Works in public collections: Ministry of Culture, Parliament of Romania, private collections from: USA, Andora, Austria, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland.
